This exciting and challenging role provides the opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Somerset Foundation Trust IT Services Desktop Support Team in Somerset.
The role will be responsible for leading, supervising and allocating work for a team of specialist IT technicians. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that a high-quality IT support service is provided to all users of trust systems, in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements. The post holder will also on occasions deputise for the IT Support Manager.

Assist in the planning and delivery of major IT Project implementations
The postholder is responsible for ensuring that a high quality IT support service is provided to all users of trust systems, in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements. This includes IT Security, Data Protection and Information Government requirements.
The post holder will be required on occasions to deputise for the IT Support Manager
On occasions there will be a requirement to work outside normal hours to upgrade systems or complete critical tasks Postholder will be required to participate in the out of hours On Call Rota.
